We are thrilled to announce that SpongeBob SquarePants: “The Great Jelly Rescue” 4D attraction will premiere this summer in various theme parks, zoos and aquariums around the world. We had a great experience working side by side with Nickelodeon Animation Studios, SimEx ! Iwerks and Super 78.

FrameBreed Studio was responsible for the visuals, animation, renderin g and compositing the ride. It was our first challenge to create an immersive, fully 3D rendered animation for a company that built a tradition around SpongeBob SquarePants show. The ride is a nonstop carousel of fully packed action moments combined with SpongeBob’s unique humor. The  story carries us through Bikini Bottom, Jellyfish fields, Krusty Krab and even Flying Dutchman’s ship. All of those worlds had to be fully recreated and visually developed to fit SpongeBob’s style and make the stereoscopic 3D palpable and “real”.

Alongside, we had the  pleasure working with award winning director Brent Young, a truly creative person and a visionary in new technologies applied in entertainment. All being said, we invite you to put your 3D glasses on and enjoy the SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS 4D experience.
